Speed is of the essence and the sooner we are told of an issue or claim the sooner our experienced staff can assist in handling the issues arising from loss, damage or dispute.
REPORTING
It is important to inform us of all matters that may give rise to a loss under the Insurance. Even small matters can blow up over time and gathering evidence at the time a loss occurs is vital when defending or settling a claim.
INFORMATION
Ensure that you are able to provide Charterparties, booking notes, bills of lading etc as well as a summary of what went wrong. The sooner we get this documentation the sooner we can evaluate risk and response.
ACCESS TO VESSEL
Ensure that you are able to tell us where the vessel is and provide agents details so that our representatives can get to the vessel and start reviewing what went wrong.
